Robotic Cell for Inspecting Aircraft Wing Leading Edges

We have developed a robotic cell specifically designed for inspecting “SLATS,” capable of analyzing the entire surface after painting. The primary defects detected include bubbles, dust, scratches, paint deficiencies, stains, and more. The inspection head, equipped with cameras and lighting, moves automatically to scan the surface in 200 x 200 mm sections. Even tiny defects, such as dust particles as small as 1 mm, are reliably detected. The entire inspection process is completed in less than 30 minutes, during which 1,000 images are captured and analyzed.
